The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Project Management Office (PMO) to play a pivotal role in driving organizational transformation. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning project execution with the broader technology and business strategy, providing strategic leadership in the development of an innovative project management framework, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact initiatives. This includes the design and implementation of enterprise-wide project governance and methodologies, enhancing project visibility, performance tracking, and risk management, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The VP of PMO will also be instrumental in maximizing business value from investments, driving digital enablement, and ensuring that projects meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.
Applicants for the VP of PMO role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with at least 10 years' experience in project management, including a minimum of 5 years' in a leadership position. The role requires a strong background in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with hands-on experience in Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile methodologies. A PMP certification is preferred, and the candidate should have a solid understanding of software development life cycle models and the technical background to provide credible leadership to the PMO team.
