We're looking for a Curriculum Specialist who is an experienced educator who brings a wealth of knowledge in 6-12 STEM, with experience in ELA. Curriculum Specialists leverage their background in teaching, transition into roles as product specialists, and are expert presenters, deeply understanding the needs of educators and students alike. This is a remote position with travel open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States. Candidates are required to travel about 80% of the time around your territory. Candidates must live within 1 hour of a major airport and reside in Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, DC, or Delaware. Additionally, this position requires traveling by car. We require candidates to have a valid driver’s license with the ability to drive a car in their designated territory. What you'll be doing:<ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li style="color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0in;">Fostering relationships and leveraging knowledge to increase sales </li><li style="color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0in;">Delivering winning sales presentations and supportive pre and post sales work, including but not limited to strategy development, training, etc. </li><li style="color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0in;">Demonstrating a thorough understanding of products sold and supported related to the educational landscape and territory revenue goal </li><li style="color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0in;">Ability to work successfully and collaboratively with sales team members as well as work in a self-directed/independent manner </li><li style="color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0in;">Remain current in educational trends, priorities, initiatives, and pedagogical knowledge</li><li style="color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0in;">Other duties as assigned </li></ul> A successful candidate will have: <ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li style="color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0in;">A or B.S degree, M.A. or higher desired </li><li style="color: #333333; margin-bottom: 0in;">5+ years of successful teaching experience. Annual salary will be prorated based on 10 working months and paid over 12 months. Vacation time will also be prorated based on 10 working months and the pay for this position is $54,600-$75,000 annually. However, base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sales commission plan will be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
