About the Position

The Lead MaintenancePro Underwriter is a critical, high-impact role designed for a proactive and strategic thinker passionate about delivering exceptional insurance solutions to maintenance contractors and their brokers. This is a unique opportunity to shape and grow a specialty insurance program tailored for the evolving needs of the maintenance industry.

This role is frontline and hands-on. Youll take charge of the underwriting portfolio strategy and help define our distribution approach for the MaintenancePro Program. Your goal will be to ensure were selecting reputable, profitable, and strategically aligned maintenance accounts. Youll have the autonomy to act with an entrepreneurial mindset, leverage technology, and partner closely with leadership to drive program success.

What Youll Do
Were seeking a dynamic and results-driven Lead MaintenancePro Underwriter to:

  • Spearhead underwriting efforts and drive market share growth for the NIP Group MaintenancePro Program.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key brokers, producers, clients, and industry stakeholders.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align program goals with company strategy, including the development and execution of a go-to-market plan that builds strong brand presence in priority markets.
  • Define and track performance metrics, ensuring alignment with profitability and growth targets.
  • Lead all underwriting activities within the MaintenancePro Program, ensuring quality risk selection and long-term program viability.
  • Champion profitable premium growth and expand our national footprint.
